The Heavy duty type (M-MODEL) is mainly used to machine heavy workpieces. This live center has been developed for heavy-duty work at a wide range of speeds.

Advantage
Accuracy
Two angular bearings are used for the radial load. The center is equipped with a spring for automatic adjustment. The standard accuracy is maintained at less than 0.005 mm.
Configuration
Since this center is used for heavyduty work, the angular bearing has a specially large design and the needle roller is used to receive the radial load at the rear position.
Machining
SuJ2 (bearing steel) is used for the center shaft section, which is hardened to Rockwell hardness of C60?K to 63?K. The tapered section is made of SCM3 which is tempered and hardened to Rockwell hardness of C35?K to 40?K.
Maintenance
The use of special grease minimizes grease consumption and eliminates the need for replenishment.
